For how long should the camera be charged?
The camera is delivered tested and partly charged and thus can be used without charging, but to ensure the longest possible operating time, we recommend that you charge the camera before you start using it.
If the camera is totally discharged, it will be fully charged within less then 5 hours.
Can the LED light be switched on during charging?
During charging, the LED light can be turned on by the switch on the charge box. The light intensity can be adjusted from the remote control. In this way the LED light can be used continuously in a static application.
How to turn on the LED light?
The LED light is turned on with light intensity on low by connecting the start plug. The light intensity can be changed from the remote control. First press On/Scan to turn on the remote control and scan for units. When the LED unit has been found, press the Left and Right buttons repeatedly to select the wanted intensity for the left and right light respectively. Don’t look directly into the light.
Can the light angle be adjusted?
Yes the vertical angle can be adjusted. The camera front can be adjusted in steps from 0deg (strait forward) to 90deg (right down).
How and where is the LED unit mounted on the trawl?
The unit can be mounted anywhere on the trawl, but the most common places are on top and the sides of the trawl front. The LED unit is often used together with the HD camera, since colour video recording requires much light. In such a case, the LED should point into the camera angle.
Make sure the unit wings are thoroughly fastened to the trawl.
What are the buttons On/Off and Record/Stop used for?
These buttons have no essential function for the LED light, but are used for the camera units. On/Off can be used to verify the connection between the remote control and LED light.
